Shimano Antares BX Competition

The Shimano Antares BX is one of the first poles in the new ‘all-round’ range, developed specifically to meet the needs of modern match anglers. Utilising the latest Shimano carbon technology (XT300 and Biofibre), the Shimano Antares BX can be used for all elastic strengths and methods without the need for additional power kits, thanks to a new top kit design that also incorporates the revolutionary ‘Elastigate’ elastication system.

Slimmer and stiffer than poles of a similar price, the Shimano Antares BX is extremely lightweight and perfectly balanced, even fishing shallow at its full 16m length, thanks to a new ‘high compression’ manufacturing process. A pole that has found favour with commercial ace Steve Ringer and is set to be become best seller for 2008. Additional generic kits are available to create an affordable spares package.
