Most match kits comprise a telescopic No1 and No2, so it can cost as much as £50 to make up individual kits. Maver’s latest innovation is a long No1 which incorporates the No2 section. This long combo eliminates the need to collapse the telescopic versions for storage and it will fit comfortably inside the pole when packing away or can be housed inside extensions or conventional rod tubes. The base of the section has a long, reinforced collar that can be cut back to fit all makes of pole. The tips are wide bore, which means less cutting back for elastication. Manufactured from high modulus carbon.
